Steve Deace spoke along these lines today.  He said that some Christians follow the "Love thy neighbor as you love yourself" maxim to a fault, which is a serious failing.

Deace suggested another maxim that should take precedence : "Not today, Satan." 

As wonderful as "love thy neighbor" is, there simply comes a time when you see evil coming at you with abominable intent and you have to understand that it's not your neighbor, it's evil, and there's nothing about it that you can or should love.

Maybe Pence can live by "love thy neighbor" in his personal life, but  our nation can't afford a President who so weakens his options when facing the uncompromising evils assaulting our nation today.

When "not today, Satan" is called for, Pence clearly cannot be relied upon to rise to the challenge.   
 

RINO theology is not kosher. The nation is going past the glorious world of next Tuesday at break neck speed and RINO theologian Pence pontificates on his ability to equivocate on a foundational sin, yet earn religious bonafides by resisting Trump and his MAGA deplorables? RINO theology redefines God, the Father of Jesus, who was obedient to his Father in ALL things. RINO theology is a political cult within the Republican Party which embraces the glorious world of next Tuesday through practice of the more we sin, the more we experience God’s love through reelection. Reelection is proof of their RINO selection to rule over their lesser, sinfully ignorant, citizens.

Pence deserves to be a tasty morsel for sharks.

Yep.  I'm a Christian, but the "Love thy neighbor" and "turn the other cheek" sentiments are things Christians strive for, but can't be applied blindly or in all cases.  You can't keep turning your other cheek when some is trying to destroy you or your family.

I's like to present to the court exhibit A: World War II

I'm all for peace and love, but there comes a time when you must defend yourself or lose your way life (if not your life itself).

Will the court please consider Exhibit B: the Middle East, which was overwhelmingly Christian until  the massacres and force conversions to Islam starting happening in - what, the 8th Century?

Even the biblical commandment often mis-translated as "thou shall not kill" is actually "thou shall not murder."  An important distinction, especially since old testament God and his peeps do an awful lot of killing.

The passion of those non communists is just vulgar, base, and defensive to RINO theology majors. Pence can better understand a transvestite, than a non communist. Non communists are just beneath religious contempt of a RINO theologian. Just you admitting you’re on the defense is sin. It is clear opposition to uniworking together, and detrimental to the endless war of democratic love. Lack of trust but verify is unpardonable sin. Don’t make us break your rice bowl, comrade, in order for all comrades to accept the right of rice bowl crushers to practice the gospel according to Alinsky.

Constitutional America always envisioned a nation with a boot grinding a non East India Company purchased and taxed rice bowl into dust, forever.
