Everyone knows that small aircraft are "evil toys of the evil rich" and are thus unsafe pleasures that need to be legislated and taxed! Besides, I get so uncomfortable waiting on the tarmac and those stuffy planes, oh my gawd!

The demise of general aviation in America is a tribute to liberalism.
I came from a flying family and worked fueling planes as a yoot.
The FBO where I worked is a ghost town now despite the population has quadrupled.

Socialism just doesn't have a positive affect on anything.

As a laddie, I was fascinated by aircraft and spent hours not huffing it but gluing pieces of airplane kits to decorate my room. I went to see the Confederate Air Force fly their stuff and even took a flying class in school.

But then my eyes were opened by ProgPower and I have come to the realization that small planes are a tool of the enemy. Not necessarily because of their adverse green-red impact, but because they enable people in flyover land to exploit Gaia, rape vegetation, and engage in immoral vegetable trafficking for profit. By compacting all small planes, flyover country can be flown over safely as its shrivels up and dies.

Necessarily it follows that all makers of ultralights (complete and kit) be regulated to unliftable weights and people with enough land to have their own private runways for existing ultralights flights have said land redistributed to the homeless in order to spread fairness and diversity throughout the land.
 

These dumbass commies have been screwing free flight up since before John Denver died.

The idiot Democrats are responsible for that too! That man was way to free for their liking.

The demise of private aviation may be caused mostly by our comrades in the legal community. Most private aircraft have been litigated from the air. Our enthusiastic comrades in the victimization community, ever willing to extend their hand (palm up) for a litigious handout, have eliminated another evil capitalist luxury. Welcome to the glorious road to collectivism.
