I've said it before: Democrats exploit the name of their party as if it equates to democracy itself—as if they have a patent on the concept of democracy and are the ultimate arbiters of what constitutes "democracy." They bandy about the phrase, our democracy, as if they own it.
I disagree: they should use the more appropriate term, democratcy to distinguish between the real thing and the fiction created by their party.

Culture Beat Reporting

https://shainasnotebook.blogspot.com/20 ... rting.html

Culture reporting also focuses on the personal lives of people, primarily celebrities, including movie and stage actors, musical artists, models and photographers, other notable people in the entertainment industry, as well as people who seek attention, such as politicians, and people thrust into the attention of the public, such as people who do something newsworthy.

This kind of culture beat reporter isn't interested in the politics, they're the democratsy culture.

It's important to note here that Alex Thompson put his squirmy little perception of "standard journalism" on full public display with that tweet: Woodstein showed up at homes to get answers about a huge story but DID NOT show up at people's homes to harass people for the purpose of doxxing.

Doxxing is not "standard journalism" (except maybe in the Bizarro world).

It's wonderful how this affair is exposing even more twisted libs than Libs of TikTok itself.

Interviewing the man in the street.

Man in the street interviewer: [to camera] Bob and his wife here define their politics as democrat. Can you define "democracy" for our viewing audience, Bob?

Bob: Uh... Hmmm... Uh... Well...

Man in the street interviewer: Mrs. Bob, can you define the word democracy?

Mrs. Bob: [blank stare]

Man in the street interviewer: Kind of like asking the Left to define socialism, isn't it.

like half of “all the president’s men” is Woodstein showing up at people’s homes.

Yeah! HALF the movie, comrades.

The ruse is off its bloom when it comes to The Bill Gates Institute of Journalism and “rich people controlling free speech.” “It’s hardly Woodward and Bernstein.” notes the intrepid culture warrior Russell Brand.
