Ukrainian priest blesses sledgehammer before it's used to smash a Lenin statue to bits last night

It's not safe to be a communist monument in Kiev right now, where enormous crowds - the Ukrainian equivalent of Tea Party - are causing disturbances to the government, protesting the recent move away from Europe and back into the familiar embrace of Mother Russia.

Apparently, many progressive US citizens think the Ukrainian protesters are the equivalent of the Occupy movement, calling to start something similar in America and stopping short of suggestions to topple the Raging Bull statue on Wall Street and erect Lenin statue in New York City instead.

Either that, or the People's Cube commenters moved to the New York Times in droves after a temporary suspension of the Cube by Google.

Looks like these comrades are about 9 years behind/ahead of schedule.

As protests continue, people gathered for a rock concert by a pro-Western Ukrainian band whose music I actually enjoy myself - Okean Elzy. Because of these protests, people began to refer to this square in Kiev as "Euromaidan" (Eurosquare).

The amazing video below was shot with a camera mounted on a small remotely controlled quadcopter. I wish the Tea Parties used that, too, but it could be perceived as a terror device by the DHS.

Meanwhile, I'm still trying to get my copter to stop knocking over my vodka bottle!
