*Vidkun Quisling awarded "Peoples' Peace Prize"

The award is made posthumously for Quislings efforts from 1940-1945 to create peace in Norway. During that time, in spite of resistance, both foreign and domestic, he worked tirelessly to promote peaceful relations with Germany. His effort earned him the hate of unilateral warmongers like Winston Churchill. Quisling in 1940 had warm feelings towards the Soviet Union, having once worked there and was married to a Russian lady.

Although the prize committee does not support many aspects of his politics, it is a fact that he ended the futile resistance of Norwegian forces to German troops attempting to defend their fatherland. His efforts ended the conflict and saved the lives of many Norwegians and Germans. His peace mission continued until 1945. In May of that year reactionary forces who hated peace, imprisoned, then executed poor Quisling along with others in his peace party.

In light of our beloved leader's Nobel prize the above is appropriate.

Comrade Fleksnes,

Comrade Vidkun's efforts should not be forgotten. There ought to be a new award made in his name and then bestowed on Dear Leader.
