In a surprising twist today, the unions representing most of the nation's public employees were denounced as racist organizations for preventing undocumented workers who are in the country illegally to be considered for government employment.

"The government is one of the largest employers in the country and it is simply unfair and downright racist for anyone to deny these jobs to poor underprivileged illegals. This includes all jobs in the public sector including federal, state, and local government jobs." said one protester. "We must agitate to bring fairness and equality into government hiring practices".

Calls to the union offices have so far not been returned.
