Medicine Go Down

MEDICINE GO DOWN

Johnny Roberts:
[Spoken]
In ev'ry law that must be won
There is an element of fun
You find the fun and...TAX!
The law's a shame

[Sung]
And ev'ry task you undertake
Becomes a liberal fake
A tax! A fee! It's very clear to see

That a spoonful of Roberts helps the medicine go down
The medicine go down, medicine go down
Just a spoonful of Roberts helps the medicine go down
In a most deceitful way

A Roberts faltering his test
Has very little time to rest
While gathering those writs of nine he rig
Though quite inept in his pursuit
He has a Barry tune to toot
He knows a throng will move the job along

For a spoonful of Roberts helps the medicine go down,
The medicine go down, medicine go down
Just a spoonful of Roberts helps the medicine go down
In a most deceitful way

[Interlude]

The money fleas that fetch the nectar
From the diapers to the tomb
Never tire of ever guzzling to and fro
Because they give a little sip
From ev'ry dollar that they clip
And hence (And hence),
They find (They find)
Their votes aren't hard to find.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Sneaky!

The spoonful of Roberts is what makes it all worthwhile comrade. It is our reward for conforming to new idiotic bureaucratic laws. But I have what I believe is a party accepted existential question regarding your lyric of worship to the state: is it a spoonful, or a shovel full?

Comrade Cone — A spoonful is a party approved measuring device. As long as it is used to dole out medicine, food, fuel, and rights. Shovels are disciplinary in nature, as evidenced by the number of proles in the train stations with them heading out to do their glorius work for the Rodina. Or if you are in a masochistic mood, just piss off Commissarka Pinkie.
