Things are so uncertain these days and I wanted to post an uplifting thing so you all might feel better.
Like some of you, I can’t think of anything funny or satirical. I am in such awe of those who can. They are my heroes.

So, I went to my vault of music to find something that might do the trick and I found a treasure!

I’m posting this in an effort to reach your heart and let you know yours is felt.

When you hear Barbara sing, you will know that’s true. My husband, who I met here at TPC, can testify to this.

That was splendid, Pamalinsky! All these years I've been hearing that song and never saw this vid. I'm adding it to my collection.
The simian drummer bears some resemblance to me in real life except I have blue eyes and sometimes hunch forward from the weight of all my medals.
On a Christmas morning when I was five, I woke up before dawn and found a drum set with my name tagged to it. My playing woke everyone in the house. I never saw those drums again. Five years later I became a drummer in the school band.

While I love everyone you mentioned, I am most concerned about Trashmouth. He is very modest but, I do know he appreciates my admiration of him. I do hope he wasn't harmed. Please let me know what happened. His name belies his skill and sincerity. I am one of his many fans. If this is just gossip, never mind.

While I have you here I want to comment on the logo you designed for jackalopelipsy. I praised it to the hilt because it was so choice and I especially loved the "reduced to lowest terms" in your creativity. She immediately admitted that you had designed it.

When I first saw it, I didn't realize exactly what I was looking at. It reminded me of the time when I first observed the negative space of the BATMAN logo. What was it! I did not get the purpose of negative space, except I now know it's meant to fool people.  Especially pedophiles.

There was no such use of negative space in 'pelipsky's logo.

The use of negative space for the DOP logo was a bit of sarcasm: if I hadn't created the story about the figure raising arms in supplication to the Earth-Mother goddess, it would never have been naturally seen that way.

Use of negative space can be a key aspect of design—especially sculpture—and M.C, Escher was a master of it, but it is not usually intended to fool people.

Also, I don't know what you see in "the" Batman logo or which one you see it in (there have been a lot of them).
